Where can we whitewater raft?
There are three major rivers in the state of Oregon that are ideal for whitewater rafting – all within about an hour’s drive of Whispering Woods Resort:
Clackamas River – a moderate whitewater river, 30 miles southeast of Portland.
Deschutes River – the most popular whitewater rafting destination located in the high desert is an hour’s drive from Whispering Woods Resort taking US-26 east to OR-216 to Maupin.
Sandy River– the closest to Whispering Woods Resort, the Sandy river is 30 minutes from the resort heading west on Hwy 26.
